Huron High School Mission Statement

The mission of Huron High School is to ensure that every student will graduate with a plan for the future. We commit to a system of support to assure this outcome.

Huron High School Counselors believe that a quality Comprehensive Guidance & Counseling Program is an integral part of the holistic educational process. Utilizing the Huron High School Comprehensive Guidance & Counseling curriculum, Counselors systematically and actively support all students in the acquisition of the skills necessary to demonstrate competencies in the areas of academic, career and personal/social development. By acquiring these competencies, students will be empowered to learn to learn, learn to work, and learn to live now and in the future in an increasingly diverse society.

Our primary counseling focus is on academic planning for high school, college and beyond. We are Ann Arbor's premier College and Career Counselors!

Faculty & Staff

Counselors are available 7:30 am through 3:30 pm for students, parents and faculty. Counselors respond to many methods of communication as quickly as possible. However, the best contact is for your student to stop by during Open Office hours. Counselors try to keep Open Office hours before school, at lunch and after school. Other times are by appointment.

Many questions can be answered using our website. Look around and check out the Frequently Asked Questions section.

For individual questions, please contact your individual Counselor directly.
